YSRCP will complain to Governor E S L Narasimhan on the “politics of murder” being practiced by the ruling Telugu Desam Party. A delegation of legislators of the principal Opposition party in Andhra Pradesh led by its chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy will meet the Governor on Monday and submit a memorandum on the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.

A delegation of legislators of the principal Opposition party in Andhra Pradesh led by its chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy will meet the Governor on Monday and submit a memorandum on the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.


The legislators will apprise the Governor of spate of attacks on the YSRCP cadre in the Rayalaseema districts ever since TDP came to power.

The ghastly murder of YSRCP leader Bumireddy Prasada Reddy in Rapthadu town of Anantapur district by unidentified assailants created panic among the party supporters. Meanwhile, YSRCP leader and Anantapur MLA Gurunatha Reddy was taken into custody by Banjara Hills police from his residence here following charges that he had instigated attacks on government offices in the district after the killing of Prasada Reddy.
