Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu said that stern action would be taken against those who take to roads and create unrest in the State to press their demands. Speaking on a resolution on law and order in the State, in the morning session on the last day of the 34th Mahanadu, here at Gandipet, on Friday, he said “those who take to roads and cause loss to the properties would not be tolerated.”

He said that aggrieved parties can bring their demands to the notice of the government and “every effort would be made to find a solution and resolve the issues” he said. But, if any one tries to disturb peace by taking to roads and create disturbance, will have to face serious action, he warned. “It is the time for industries to come to the State.

And, if any one creates industrial unrest and disturbs law and order, it will have an adverse impact in creating conducive atmosphere for industries to come and invest in the State,” he pointed out. Alleging that the YSRCP and Congress parties have connections with the “shady characters”, Chandrababu Naidu said that faction groups, anti-social elements would be showed their place.

Also, YSRCP and Congress have close connections with those involved in red sanders smuggling, illegal transportation of barytes mineral, sand and liquor mafia, he alleged. He said that any lenience towards these elements would bring development in the State to a grinding halt. Further he said that there was no major law and order incident took place in the last one year, after his government took over the reins of AP.

Promising that his government would take all necessary steps to provide protection to BCs, SC, STs and women and other weaker sections of the society, the Chief Minister warned that those resorting to crime against women, would be dealt with an iron hand.
