He would interact with farmers, weavers and DWCRA women to know their plight in view of the TDP government’s failure to keep its promises.
Tadipatri MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy has set a condition to Rahul Gandhi. He asked the Congress vice president to hand over the cheques of financial aid to kin of farmers who committed suicide during the Congress rule. "During Congress rule, 600 farmers have committed suicide in Anantapur. First help them financially before visiting houses of farmers who committed suicide after TDP came to power," he said.
The Tadipatri MLA threatened to obstruct the tour along with the kin of the deceased if Rahul fails to help them.
