RTC region earns 7.5 cr
APSRTC Vijayawada region was able to earn Rs 7.5 crore through Godavari Pushkaralu special services, according to regional manager PV Rama Rao.Speaking to The Hans India on Saturday, Rama Rao said 5,100 buses were operated as Pushakaralu specials and 5,40,000 passengers travelled in these buses to take a holy dip in Godavari River.

Meanwhile district Collector Babu A thanked people of Krishna district for extending their services to Pushkaralu devotees. He said 76 lakh water packets, 11.5 lakh butter milk packets and 4.6 lakh food packets were sent to Rajahmundry and Kovvur to be distributed among pilgrims. The collector thanked the people and organizations who had donated water, butter milk and food packets to Pushkaralu devotees.
