The Hyderabad High Court on Monday directed the special CBI court to expedite hearing of cases and discharge petitions pending before the court in connection with the alleged quid-pro-quo investments in companies owned by YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The Hyderabad High Court on Monday directed the special CBI court to expedite hearing of cases and discharge petitions pending before the court in connection with the alleged quid-pro-quo investments in companies owned by YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.


An advocate from Vijayawada, Y Vedavyas filed a PIL in the court requesting the Court to direct the CBI to speed up the prosecution in all the cases registered against the MLAs and MPs.


CBI's counsel told the court that there were eight cases pending in YS Jagan's case. Several accused in the case filed the discharge petition seeking removal of their names from the charge-sheets filed against them.
