Chicken Kebab damages Prakasam businessman's spinal cord

A businessman in Prakasam district swallowed a 3 cm X 2 mm metal wire that was in a piece of chicken kebab he took and it got stuck in the spinal cord.

Unable to swallow food, he visited a doctor in the district who advised further treatment in Hyderabad. After an open operation by expert doctors, the wire was removed from the spinal cord.
The doctor who performed the operation said that the wire had gone from the mouth into the food pipe. The doctors advised the public to chew food completely while taking smaller portions of the food.
