A fire accident took place nearby to the Andhra Pradesh Capital Amaravati in Guntur District, Tadepalli Mandal on Monday.
The flames erupted near to the residence of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in Sitanagaram near Krishna Lanka. The place was surrounded with smoke as the fire started to spread causing the trees burst into flames.
With the fire spreading fast, the police personnel rushed to the spot and also looked into the safety of the Chief Minister. The Tahsildar who called on the fire tenders rushed to the spot immediately. However, with the sudden rainfall, the flames were put out.
