The process of land acquisition to build AP capital that was abruptly halted after Janasena founder Pawan Kalyan opposed the way in which lands were being forcibly snatched away from farmers, is all set to resume. In a major jolt to Pawan, the Andhra Pradesh Government is preparing to take over 300 acres lands for AP Capital. It may be recalled here that actor and Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan strongly opposed forcible land acquisition of lands from farmers to build Andhra Pradesh capital.

He asked the Government to withdraw the notification and urged the government to resolve the issue amicably by convincing farmers with written assurances that their interests will be protected. Later, the Government also withdrew the notification. On Wednesday, Agriculture Minister Prathipati Pullarao said they will issue a notification for land acquisition if the farmers were adamant to part with their lands.

He further said that the Government had already taken a decision and the notification will likely be issued in the first week of November. Will the Janasena chief rage a second round of war against the TDP government and go to the AP capital area? Let's wait and watch.
