An additional cost of Rs 9,000 crore had to be spent on the Pattiseema project and loan waiver as they were not part of the budget, said Yanamala. The Finance Minister appealed to all the departments to cut down the expenditure as the income on Transport, excise, commercial tax have falled drastically.
