AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu clarified that there won't be any extension to the deadline of June 1, 2016 for shifting of government employees to Vijayawada.
The concerns raised by the employees were brought to Chandrababu's notice in the meeting at Secretariat in Hyderabad on Saturday to which the Chief Minister responded that the employees should not work under no circumstance from Hyderabad after June 1.
Chandrababu instructed the officials that the state secretariat should start functioning from that date with all the meetings to be held from Vijayawada. Ruling out any other relaxation for the employees, Chandrababu asked the department heads to head the transfer of employees in a phased manner instead of waiting till June and provide temporary accommodation to employees settling down in Vijayawada along with safety and security of women employees.
