Kurnool: Relieved field assistants of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act have sought their reinstatement. As many as 451 field assistants were relieved in the district.
When the field assistants moved High Court challenging their ouster, it issued a stay order. In a memorandum submitted to District Collector Ch Vijaya Mohan here on Saturday, the field assistants urged him to reinstate them at the earliest as per the HC order.
