Notification on draft master plan to be issued on Dec 30

The State government is planning to issue notification of draft master plan for development of Amaravati capital on December 30. Giving details of Capital Region Development Authority review meeting, Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana said that they would discuss with farmers on minor changes in master plan before issuing notification on draft master plan as per the directions of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. He said farmers would get 30 days time to raise their objections if any on the draft master plan as per CRDA Act. The Minister said plots would be allotted to farmers who offered their lands to capital by the end of February. He said after receiving draft master plan they have to plug mark the sites and distribute necessary certificates to farmers. He said a GO would be issued soon on packages of island lands and assigned lands.
