MLA Roja indulged in heavy sloganeering against Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, further disrupting the Assembly proceedings following which she was suspended by Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao for a year.
The BJP leader who appealed for a lesser punishment for Roja stated that he had not realized how grave the remarks were but after going through the assembly records, he supported the one year suspension decision taken by the Speaker.
