Irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao responded to the concerns regarding the irrigation projects in AP Assembly session on Tuesday. Assuring that the works on Handri Neeva project would soon be completed, Devineni Uma added that steps are being taken for the welfare of farmers in the state.
The Irrigation Minister informed that the ground water levels have increased to 2.14 mts in the state and measures are being implemented to supply water to Rayalaseema.
