Visakhapatnam: Azure Power, a leader and independent power producer in the Indian solar industry, has announced that it has secured 100 MW solar power project in an auction put up by the NTPC Limited as part of National Solar Mission.
The project will be built in AP Solar Park and of the 10 companies participated in the online auction, Azure Power has secured the 100 MW of the total 150 MW capacity auctioned. Company CEO Inderpreet Wadhwa said they are delighted to make this contribution towards realisation of Prime Minister’s commitment towards clean and green energy through solar power generation.
