Six properties of Agrigold -- two each in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, one each in Telangana and Tamilnadu – will be sold by the three e-auction firms in the first phase by February 7, 2016. This was approved by the High Court Division Bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Dilip B Bhosale and Justice S V Bhatt on Thursday while hearing the Public Interest Litigation in Agrigold matter.

Six properties of Agrigold -- two each in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, one each in Telangana and Tamilnadu – will be sold by the three e-auction firms in the first phase by February 7, 2016. This was approved by the High Court Division Bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Dilip B Bhosale and Justice S V Bhatt on Thursday while hearing the Public Interest Litigation in Agrigold matter. Each firm has been allotted two properties each for selling.

The Earnest Money Deposit for participation in bidding has been fixed at 1 per cent of reserve price or Rs2.00 lakh whichever is higher. A fee of 0.2 per cent has been fixed for the auction firms from the sale proceeds. Two separate bank accounts will be opened in the name of Registrar Judicial to receive the EMD amounts and sale proceeds.
