Youth festival concludes on a grand note

Students from various engineering colleges in the State vied for top honours in the three-day Youth Festival, ‘Colours 2016’. They battled it out to prove their skills in arts, culture and language in a festive atmosphere on the Aditya Educational Institutions campus at Surampalem in East Godavari district on Sunday.

They battled it out to prove their skills in arts, culture and language in a festive atmosphere on the Aditya Educational Institutions campus at Surampalem in East Godavari district on Sunday.

The keenly-contested events were a hub of intense activity with participants and their supporters making their presence felt by cheering the competitors at dance and music competitions. Classical dances and group western dances by several colleges turned out to be the crowd-pullers. Food stalls are arranged all over the campus.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of Aditya Educational Institutions N Sesha Reddy said participation in the competitions was more important than winning them. "You should learn to appreciate each other’s skills and cheer them at such meetings," he added.

Srikakulam MP K Rammohan Naidu, Chairman of Aditya Educational Institutions N Sesha Reddy and Vice-Chairman of the institution N Satish Reddy participated in the valedictory.
