IGBC eyes green building market
The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) chairman Prem Jain stated that by 2025 the green building market is estimated to be about $ 300 millions and the IGBC envisions facilitating 10 billion sqft of registered green building footprint by the year 2023.

The IGBC organised an international conference and exhibition on green buildings and green-built environment recently at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat.
YR Subramanyam, Superintending Engineer, (R&B) Circle, Anantapur, attended the conference. While addressing a conference, Subramanyam explained why the concept of green is more relevant nowadays.
In the conference, the delegates pledged to construct 10 millions sqft of green buildings footprint in the next three years in Gujarat.
