Special kids visit Coast Guard ships

​Visakhapatnam: Indian Coast Guard has organised a visit of Coast Guard ships for the special children of Omkar and Lions Educational Society here on Thursday.

In all, 70 children accompanied by their teachers attended the event in which they were briefed about Coast Guard ships, organisational structure, functions, its motto and achievements.

A short film on the role of Indian Coast Guard was also screened.

The kids, who have shown interest in learning various aspects of the navigation and seamanship, raised doubts about the role of Indian Coast Guard which were clarified.
