Mother abandons infant in family court
A mother left her 18 month old girl child before the judge at family court before running away from the court premises here on Thursday. The judge ordered officials to hand over the infant to ICDS authorities. According to police, Eswaraiah divorced from his wife Vijaya Bharathi due to family disputes.
Kadapa: A mother left her 18-month-old girl child before the judge at family court before running away from the court premises here on Thursday. The judge ordered officials to hand over the infant to ICDS authorities. According to police, Eswaraiah divorced from his wife Vijaya Bharathi due to family disputes.
As per the court orders, Eswaraiah has been paying Rs 3,500 every month to his divorced wife towards the maintenance of the child. The divorced couple attended the court for hearing in the case on Thursday. An emotional Vijaya Bharathi complained to the judge that the amount paid by her divorced husband was inadequate to raise the child, and ran towards judge before leaving the child on his table. A visibly shocked judge directed officials to hand over the child to ICDS authorities until the mother comes back to take her child.
