Ensure quality in development works by making use of funds, Rajahmundry MP M Murali Mohan told the official machinery here on Friday. He said there should be no compromise on the quality of works.

He along with Rajahmundry rural MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Choudary laid foundation stone for road development works in Kolamuru panchayat in Rajahmundry rural constituency on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Gorantla said proposals were sent to the government to obtain funds for the development of roads in rural areas. He said that a comprehensive action plan has been formulated to provide drinking water to all villages and talks were held with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to release funds for the purpose.
Gorantla assured that the government would sanction fresh loans to women’s groups. He said despite the State government facing financial crunch, the government is sanctioning pensions and new ration cards for all eligible.
