TDP MLA Vallabhaneni's protest against land acquisition faces opposition

TDP MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi's agitation along with his followers for opposing land acquisition for inner ring road has caused quite a stir. Responding to the agitation, Krishna district Telugu Desam Party (TDP) unit president Arjunudu urged Vallabhaneni Vamsi to give up the protest.

It is learnt that several attempts are being made to stop the agitation and even Home Minister Rajappa intervened on the issue. He said that if the situation does not change, the law will take its own course. Meanwhile, a case has been registered against the TDP MLA for staging protests on national highway opposing Land acquisition.
