Kurnool: The rural police arrested the accused in a murder case at Tippamma Kottam near Mamidalapadu on Tuesday.

Upon interrogation, he admitted to have strangulated Kunigiri Devi aka Anita, his live-in partner on February 1 to death for her refusal to oblige him as he had forced her into prostitution.
Ever since the murder, he was on the run. The first class magistrate court here remanded him to 14 days judicial custody.
