Single stop RTC bus services named Handri Express

Kurnool: Single stop RTC bus services running on various routes in the district will be henceforth called Handri Express. Speaking after releasing the name plate of Handri Express here on Saturday, Kurnool RTC Deputy Chief Traffic Manager Srinivasulu said the name was coined to make the single stop bus services more popular as Handri river is synonymous with the district.

At present, Adoni RTC bus depot is operating 12 single stop bus services, Nandyal nine, Atmakur eight, Nandikotkur five and Yemmiganur four. The new initiative is expected to increase the occupancy rate in the single stop RTC bus services by giving them a new identity, he said.
