Not encouraging turncoats: Lokesh
TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh denied that his party is encouraging defections and claimed that YSRCP leaders switched to TDP on their own. Speaking to mediapersons at the TDP activists’ training programme here on Wednesday, the TDP leader said, “We welcome anyone, who desires to join our party. There is no need for our party to lure anyone.”

Speaking to mediapersons at the TDP activists’ training programme here on Wednesday, the TDP leader said, “We welcome anyone, who desires to join our party. There is no need for our party to lure anyone.”
Answering a query, he asserted that the Opposition MLAs had joined on their own. On the party’s debacle in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation election, he said the plans are afoot to rebuild the party. He alleged that YSRCP and TRS joined hands in the election. Later, addressing party activists, he said the leaders and activists are the two eyes of the party and they should work in tandem to expand the party. He explained the measures the party has taken for the welfare of the committed and loyal activists.
