Addressing the media in Pithapuram of East Godavari district where he met the ‘Kapu Garjana’ victims, Mudragada Padmanabham alleged that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's assurances towards the concerns for the Kapus do not match the implementation by him. Stating that the Kapus are being denied loans, he said that injustice being done to the poor as the TDP leaders who in the name of JanmaBhoomi committees were the only ones being granted loans.

The Kapu leader even questioned the attitude of the people being denied loans for taking part in the Tuni agitation and expressed concern over the fact that thirty thousand applications were selected out of 3.5 lakh loan applicants from 13 districts. Revealing that he was receiving calls from the districts where people are complaining that Chandrababu won't be fulfilling the promises towards Kapus, Mudragada said he would launch protest once again.
