Municipal staff state-level meet on March 13

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Municipal Workers Union state general secretary Asula Ranganayakulu said on Monday that the union would be conducting state-level municipal employees meeting in Guntur on March 13 to discuss the problems being faced by staff and contract staff working in all municipalities and municipal corporations of the state.
He said the Telugu Desam government had failed to solve the problems of municipal workers and alleged that the government was also not paying salaries properly to the workers. He criticized the Government was encouraging the private contractors, particularly the supporters of Telugu Desam Party and had been trying to give contract works. He said the municipal workers union would discuss all problems during the state-level meeting in Guntur.
