The issue was taken up during the Question Hour where Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao elaborated on the funds spent on the farmers loan waiver. However, YS Jagan countered the statement by saying that the government was diverting Central funds.
The Opposition leader quoted the minister's statement where he accepted that the Centre sanctioned more than Rs 1000 crores but failed to mention as to how the farmers were benefitted from this. Following the discussion, YS Jagan walked out of the Assembly as a protest.
