YSRCP boycotts Assembly session
As the AP Assembly resumed on Monday, the Opposition YSRCP legislative members boycotted the session as stated by them on Saturday. The YSRCP members will be meeting at party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy\'s residence in a short while in order to discuss the future course of action.
As the AP Assembly resumed on Monday, the Opposition YSRCP legislative members boycotted the session as stated by them on Saturday. The YSRCP members will be meeting at party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's residence in a short while in order to discuss the future course of action.
The boycott of Assembly came through with the YSRCP members stating that the report of Privilege Committee on MLA Roja's suspension is biased. The suspension issue is set to dominate AP Assembly proceedings on Monday as the Hyderabad High Court will hear arguments on petitions filed by Assembly Secretary and Roja.
The YSRCP MLA had filed a contempt of court petition against Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao for denying her entry into the Assembly and another petition was filed challenging the interim orders on Roja suspension. The Privilege Committee report and High Court interim orders in Roja suspension issue will be taken up for discussion in the Assembly.
