Farmers want to know particulars of plot facing
Farmers of capital region are now demanding that the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) officials reveal details of plot facing. The CRDA officials organised an awareness programme for farmers in Mangalagiri and Tadepalli mandals at sub-collector’s office here on Thursday. Â

In the meet that was attended by Minister for Agriculture Prathipati Pulla Rao, MLA Sravan Kumar, Guntur joint Collector and CRDA officials, the farmers demanded that the officials clear their doubts on several issues including assigned lands and grama kantams.
Speaking on the occasion, Pulla Rao said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is discussing with Central government over exemption of capital gains on the plots distributed to farmers. He said the government would take initiative to benefit all the farmers, who offered lands under land pooling.
CRDA additional commissioner Ch Sridhar said that the plots would be distributed as a group or else money would be distributed by selling the plots. He said that the officials would visit the villages to bring awareness among farmers on allotment of plots.
