Visakhapatnam: Vignan Institute of Information Technology, Duvvada has secured national award in a survey conducted in all the engineering colleges across the country by the Centre for Education Growth and Research (CEGR).College Principal Dr K Alies Mary received the award recently at a function in New Delhi from the Director of All India Council for Technical Education Dr Manpreeth Singh and Director of CEGR Raveesh where the Vice-Chancellors of various universities were also present. She informed here on Thursday that the college was adjudged for the national award as 70 to 85 per cent of its students are being recruited by multinational software companies and major industries every year.
