Two dead, 7 injured in road mishap

Two persons died and seven persons severely injured in a road accident involving collision of auto and lorry near Kadavakuduru in Chinaganjam mandal on Tuesday. Eight people boarded the auto coming from Chinaganjam at different places. When they reached Kadavakuduru railway crossing, the speeding auto hit a lorry coming from Chirala.
Chirala: Two persons died and seven persons severely injured in a road accident involving collision of auto and lorry near Kadavakuduru in Chinaganjam mandal on Tuesday. Eight people boarded the auto coming from Chinaganjam at different places. When they reached Kadavakuduru railway crossing, the speeding auto hit a lorry coming from Chirala.
An old woman, Subbaravamma (60) and a 70-year-old person travelling in the driver cabin died on the spot. The driver and six passengers in the auto were severely injured. They were shifted to the Chirala Government Hospital for treatment. The condition of the driver is said to be critical.
