APSRTC bags HUDCO Award

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has bagged the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) Award for providing better transportation facilities for the public in urban areas.
Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu gave away the HUDCO award to APSRTC executive director A Venkateswara Rao at a program me held to mark the 46th foundation day of HUDCO in New Delhi on Monday.
In a press release issued here, Venkateswara Rao recalled that the corporation had received award for achieving the highest KMPL in fuel efficiency among all the state transportation units at a programme organised in Bangalore.
“Now, the HUDCO award increases our responsibility to better transportation facilities for the public at an affordable price,” he added.
