Minister Forest to open solar project
Minister for Forests, Environment, Science and Technology Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy will inaugurate the 25 KWP Solar Power Project, which was set up with Rs 24 lakh atop office building of Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board at Madhavadara, on April 29.

Joint Chief Environment Engineer B Madhusudana Rao said here on Tuesday that 25 KWP Solar Power Project will be the first one in the district to help contain pollution. He said the project is expected to generate 100 units a day against the department’s average daily consumption of 178 units. He said that APPCB Chairman Dr Phani Kumar and member secretary B S S Prasad will attend.
Local Ministers Ch Ayyanna Patrudu, Ganta Srinivasa Rao, MP T Subbarami Reddy, K Hari Babu and MLAs will also present on the occasion.
