6 civic chiefs deputed for Krishna Pushkaralu works

Pithapuram (East Godavari): Six municipal commissioners in the district have been posted in Krishna district on deputation for the Krishna pushkarams.

Accordingly, the municipal commissioners handed over the charge to respective deputy executive engineers and relieved themselves of their office. They reported at the camp office of the municipal administration director in Vijayawada.
Orders issued on Monday last, the municipal administration director drafted them for pushkar work.

Municipal commissioner of Pithapuram R Rammohan Rao and Samalkot Municipal commissioner KT Sudhakar were drafted on the basis of good work done by them during the last Godavari pushkarams.

They are required to monitor arrangements and formulate action plan for the event in Vijayawada Municipal Corporation and Tadepalli municipal limits.

Deputation of civic body chiefs came under fire from public in view of arrangements needed to be done in Pithapuram and Samalkot for the Godavari pushkarams concluding ceremony and on account of the smart pulse sample survey is under way in the district.

It is everyone’s knowledge that crowds flock to Padagaya and Bheemeswara temples during the concluding ceremony.
The Deputy Executive Engineers would be handed over additional charge in a day or two.
