Services Aquatic Championship
The championship being conducted over next five days will witness over 20 events which include swimming, water polo, spring board and high-board dive.Over 170 participants among the four teams comprising Army Red, Army Green, Navy and Air Force will contest for the Championship Trophy.
Visakhapatnam: The 66th edition of Inter-Services Aquatics Championship for the year 2016-17 was inaugurated at Command Swimming Pool here on Tuesday. Rear Admiral Pradeep Rana, Chief Staff Officer (Personnel and Administration) headquarters, Eastern Naval Command, was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony.
The championship being conducted over next five days will witness over 20 events which include swimming, water polo, spring board and high-board dive.Over 170 participants among the four teams comprising Army Red, Army Green, Navy and Air Force will contest for the Championship Trophy.
The championship is being conducted under the aegis of Services Sports Control Board, Eastern Naval Command and is being hosted by INS Circars. The finals of the championship will be held on August 20 at the Command Swimming Pool.
