Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan will address a public meeting at Kakinada on September 9. The meeting has been named \'Seemandhrula Atma Gaurava Sabha\'. Actor-turned politician Pawan Kalyan had organised a similar public meeting at Tirupati in August, where he lambasted the Centre for not keeping its promise of according Special Category Status to the State.
Pawan ultimatum to Centre likely
Hyderabad: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan will address a public meeting at Kakinada on September 9. The meeting has been named 'Seemandhrula Atma Gaurava Sabha'. Actor-turned politician Pawan Kalyan had organised a similar public meeting at Tirupati in August, where he lambasted the Centre for not keeping its promise of according Special Category Status to the State.
It is believed that the Jana Sena chief will make a key announcement about the future course of action of his party. Stating that the actor-turned politician would warn the TDP and the BJP on the issue of Special Category Status, sources added that Pawan would issue an ultimatum to the Centre.
Pawan was apparently aware that the Centre was finalising the special deal and he has timed his Tirupati and Kakinada meetings in such a way that the advantage will not go to Jagan. If special status is given, it creates an impression that the decision was taken only after Pawan entered the scene.
