Srisailam reservoir gets copious inflows

Srisailam Project: The Srisailam reservoir received heavy inflows from upper riparain areas of the Krishna river on Saturday following copious rains. It is nearing the full capacity. As against FRL of 885 ft its storage stands at 877.50 ft. The reservoir now has 175.105 tmc, as against the capacity of 216 tmc.

The Srisailam dam received 1,16,176 cusecs from the Jurala project. Its outflow was 2,180 cusecs. As required, power generation commenced at the left and the right canal plants.
