TRA‘WELL’ campaign begins with 3K Run
As part of its TRA‘WELL’ campaign to promote road safety, the Department of Visual Communication of Andhra Loyola College
Vijayawada: As part of its TRA‘WELL’ campaign to promote road safety, the Department of Visual Communication of Andhra Loyola College organised a 3K Run from Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium here on Sunday. About 2,000 students participated in the Run.
Speaking at the flagging off ceremony of 3K Run, Commissioner of Police D Gautam Sawang exhorted students to promote road safety in the city by strictly adhering to traffic rules.
Joint Commissioner of Police P Hari Kumar, DCPs TK Rana and GVG Ashok Kumar, Fr S Raju, Correspondent of Andhra Loyola College, Fr S Melchior, vice-principal, Fr Rex Angelo, PG vice-principal, Fr Rayappa, TRA‘WELL’ campaign in-charge, Vijay Srinivasan, HoD of Visual Communication, Dr PV Ramana Murthy, managing director of Andhra Hospitals, and others were present. The Run concluded at Andhra Loyola College. Students presented a cultural event at the college on the occasion.
