Kurnool: Navaratri came to an end with the immersion of Goddess Durga idols. The immersion of Durga idols took place amid drum beats and dances. A large number of devotees witnessed the immersion in Tungabhadra river at Sankal Bagh on Wednesday TDP MP T G Venkatesh, District Collector Ch Vijay Mohan, District Superintendent of Police Ake Ravi Krishna, MLA S V Mohan Reddy, MLC Sudhakar Babu, Panyam MLA Gowru Charitha, BJP leader Katasani Ram Bhupal Reddy, industrialist T G Bharat and TDP leader Somishetty Venkateshwarulu participated in the immersion of Durga idols.
