Srikakulam: The endowment officials reviewed the arrangements for Rathasapthami here on Sunday. The festival will be celebrated at Sri Suryanarayana Swamy temple at Arasavalli in Srikakulam on February 3. Srikakulam MLA G Laxmidevi and endowment assistant commissioner and temple executive officer V Shyamala Devi reviewed the arrangements like queue lines, prasadam counters, ticket booking modes, traffic management, arrangement for holy dips at Indrapushkarini, special buses, free medical camps with the officials concerned on the temple premises on Sunday.
The MLA released a wall poster and brochures on the festival. “We are expecting more than one lakh devotees for the festival and made elaborate arrangements to clear rush,” said temple executive officer Shyamala Devi. Revenue, police, medical and health and APSRTC officials were present.
