Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday chaired a Cabinet Meeting where he has given his nod to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill and Sports Policy 2017-22.
Among other decisions taken at the meet, the cabinet approved 50 percent hike in the salaries for the contract employees. As per the new PRC, the minimum salary for employees will be Rs 12,000 that in turn will burden Rs 200 crore on the exchequer.
Recruitment of 88 employees to work in chambers of newly sworn-in Ministers was also approved. The Chief Minister after reviewing all the decisions expressed his displeasure over the implementation of Neeru-Pragathi programme.
