MP Kesineni Nani expresses ire again at transport officials
Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas once again expressed his ire at the road transport department officials alleging that the corruption is rampant in the department. He alleged that officials are not conducting physical verification of the buses and permits. He said many buses registered in Nagaland, Pondicherry were being run in AP.

The MP said the transport officials of Andhra Pradesh have not responded to a letter he wrote about the illegal operations of some transporters in the state. He said that the Arunachal Pradesh government had cancelled the permits of 2,400 buses on account of registration irregularities. The MP spoke to media persons after attending a programme on Monday.
Kesineni Srinivas said that about 900 buses belonging to AP and Telangana have been registered in Arunachal Pradesh even before the delivery of buses.Asked about his Kesineni Travels buses, he said he had stopped the transport operations.
Arunachal Pradesh government had identified that the transport officials of AP had committed mistakes but the AP officials have not responded to the letter he wrote about the illegal bus operations in AP. He said corruption is rampant in the transport department of Andhra Pradesh and officials have not responded to his complaints.
