Arya Vysyas seek corporation
Srisailam MLA Budda Rajasekhara Reddy acknowledged the demand of Arya Vysyas, who have been demanding a separate corporation for the development of their community. Representative of Arya Vysya Federation met the MLA on Thursday and handed over a representation.
Atmakur (Kurnool): Srisailam MLA Budda Rajasekhara Reddy acknowledged the demand of Arya Vysyas, who have been demanding a separate corporation for the development of their community. Representative of Arya Vysya Federation met the MLA on Thursday and handed over a representation.
They have been meeting all peoples’ representatives in the district and handing over the requisitions asking a corporation for them. Speaking on the occasion, the district president of the federation Illuru Sudhakar said that there are different corporations for several communities but Vysyas’ haven’t have one even though 70 per cent of the community are still poor, he said.
Presidents of women wing Vijayalakshmi and Jeevaratnamma said that the community is lagging behind politically, socially and economically. Responding to their demand, the MLA suggested that all MLAs should take up this issue with the Chief Minister. He assured that the TDP will support the reasonable demands of Vysyas. Later, the representatives felicitated the MLA.
