Rupees 8 lakhs sanctioned for Olympic Day run

Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) sanctioned Rs.8 lakh for conducting Olympic Day Runs at all districts on June 23. According to SAAP Officer on Special Duty (OSD) P Rama Krishna Rs.35,000 for each district and Rs.3.45 lakh for state level Olympic Day Run was allotted which will be held at Vijayawada on or before June 30.

According to SAAP Officer on Special Duty (OSD) P Rama Krishna Rs.35,000 for each district and Rs.3.45 lakh for state level Olympic Day Run was allotted which will be held at Vijayawada on or before June 30.
SAAP officials on Thursday said Olympic Day Run would be organised by District Sports Development Officers (DSDO) and Olympic Associations. To mark the Olympic run, Torch rallies would be organised in the districts and the torches would come to Vijayawada city after completion of rallies.
