With the upcoming Nandyal by-polls nearing, the Andhra Pradesh politics is heating up.

Tourism Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya threw an open challenge to YSRCP candidate Shilpa Mohan Reddy, who had recently defected from the TDP and said that she would quit politics if TDP loses in Nandyal by-election.

The TDP candidate for the Nandyal by-polls is Bhuma Nagi Reddy brother’s son Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy. Expressing confidence on voters electing TDP, Akhila Priya said that based on the sympathy on Bhuma Nagi Reddy and YSRCP banking on anti-incumbency factor, voters are sure to cast vote to TDP.
