DMR Sekhar took charge as an executive director of ONGC–Rajamahendravaram. He will replace Debasis Sanyal. In his role as asset manager, Sekhar succeeded in increasing production to 2,644 tonnes per day, as against of 1,607 tonnes per day. He received Accident Free Award from Union Ministry of Labour and Employment.

Rajamahendravaram: DMR Sekhar took charge as an executive director of ONGC–Rajamahendravaram. He will replace Debasis Sanyal. In his role as asset manager, Sekhar succeeded in increasing production to 2,644 tonnes per day, as against of 1,607 tonnes per day. He received Accident Free Award from Union Ministry of Labour and Employment.

Addressing a gathering after taking the charge, he said that steps would be taken to achieve the target of 0.292 million metric tonnes for 2017-2018. “To achieve this, latest technology should be introduced to explore oil and gas,” he added.
Sekhar was trained in Huston, Texas and France and specialises in oil and gas exploration equipments.
