Shakambari Utsavam at Srisailam Temple
On the eve of Ashada Pournami Shankambari Utsavam was performed to Bhramarambhika Devi of Srisailam temKurnoolple on Sunday. The temple authorities have decorated Bhramarambha Devi, Raja Rajeshwari Devi, village deity Ankalamma,, the temple premises and other deities with various flowers, vegetables, leafy vegetables and fruits.

The temple authorities have decorated Bhramarambha Devi, Raja Rajeshwari Devi, village deity Ankalamma,, the temple premises and other deities with various flowers, vegetables, leafy vegetables and fruits.
The authorities of Srisailam temple decorated Goddess Bhramaramba Devi as Sakambari Mata on occasion of Ashada Pournami part of Sakambari festival on Sunday. The main priests and officials led by Temple executive officer Narayan Bharath Gupta performed special poojas at Ammavaru and Swamivarla temples on this occasion.
The temple Executive Officer said they had used around 5,000 kgs of 45 different vegetables, leafy vegetables, flowers and fruits to adorn Ammavaru and temple premises. The main aim of the festival is to get timely rains and better future. Meanwhile large numbers of devotees thronged the temple to take holy darshan of Sakambari Mata.
