Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank (APGB) Regional Manager SV Rama Subba Rao said that the APGB has launched two special campaigns under diversification of credit from July 15. The aim of the diversification of credit is to cater to the needs of both urban and rural customers.

Kurnool: Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank (APGB) Regional Manager SV Rama Subba Rao said that the APGB has launched two special campaigns under diversification of credit from July 15. The aim of the diversification of credit is to cater to the needs of both urban and rural customers.

Addressing a press conference at his chamber here on Saturday, Rama Subba Rao said as many as 31 urban branches and 35 rural branches of the bank are delivering banking services in the region covering 9.4 lakh account holders. So far, the region has crossed Rs 2,360 crore business for the quarter ending June 2017, he stated.

On this occasion, assets worth Rs 2 crore to urban customers and Rs 60 lakh for rural customers were distributed.
The Regional Manager urged the customers and account holders in the region to make use of the schemes by contacting the nearest branch managers. Branch Managers, customers and other staff members were present.
