Contract agency told to expedite Durga temple flyover works
Krishna District Collector B Lakshmi Kantham on Tuesday directed the Durga flyover contracting agency Soma Company to expedite the fly-over works and complete main works by Dasari.
Vijayawada: Krishna District Collector B Lakshmi Kantham on Tuesday directed the Durga flyover contracting agency Soma Company to expedite the fly-over works and complete main works by Dasari.
The Collector Lakhsmi Kantham inspected the flyover works at Bahavanipuram in the city and expressed displeasure over the poor progress of the works.
He said Dasara is the most important festival and devotees visiting the temple should not face problems due to incomplete works. He directed the authorities concerned to complete the project within the stipulated time.
He informed the Soma Company representatives that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been reviewing the progress of the works regularly and suggesting to complete the works by Dasara. Vijayawada revenue divisional officer (RDO) S Hareesh and other officers accompanied him.
